With their tiny plants contained in glass, terrariums are an attractive piece to have at home, in cafés or at the workplace.
I met with the creator of a local business producing beautiful terrariums here in Adelaide.
Fern Buranasak has always had a love for the colours and shapes of succulents.
When plants began to take over her home, she decided to start selling her creations for others to enjoy.
At just twenty-one years of age, Fern has been running her business, Little Terrariums, for four years.
Little Terrariums sells wedding centrepieces, creative plant designs and, indeed, terrariums, online and at markets. Fern also runs workshops at Fawn Café on Gilles Street.
I had the pleasure of meeting Fern and photographing all her stunning succulents.
